Surprise Release!

Hello, my loves!

I was thinking the other day that I didn't have a book coming out for ages (I'm still in first draft stage of one and slow editing stage of another). I didn't like this idea and was thinking of ideas of things I could release or things I can write to keep things being produced. I've currently got a schedule for the next three years of releasing a dramatic (i.e. Like A Supernova) novel a year and one or two contemporary/women's fiction (i.e. Writer's Block) a year.

So, as I was looking at my schedule and figuring out the blocks of time I can write/release things in, I remembered I had a book that I had finished the first draft of a year ago that I wasn't doing anything with. It's just sitting on my shelf (well, in this case, my documents folder on my computer) and gathering (virtual) dust.

It's not doing anyone a favour by just sitting there only for me to read, is it?

SO! July 25th it's being released!
In the next couple of days, I'll release name, cover, blurb etc.

But just a little thing to start off with, this novel is the shortest one I have ever written. It's still above novella length (if you want to get technical), so I'm quite content. It's small and concise and (hopefully) exciting.
After writing the first draft of this, I decided to write a TV show script based off these characters, and that was the entire reason I had stopped seeing this novel as a candidate for publication. But seeing as the TV show is also going to sit there gathering dust, it's time for others to fall in love with these characters as I am.

So, that's it!
In a couple of days, I'll be the author of four books that people can purchase! I'm excited.

Now...back to editing. -__-

All my love,
Amy

Update (finally)

For someone that spends most of her time sitting at her desk in front of her computer, I really don't update this very often. I aim to change that. I feel like I'm in a routine now. Hopefully. Moving house is surprisingly disruptive. Anyway! Here's a little update for everyone and what I'm currently working on. -Like A Supernova is finished and available in Kindle and Paperback formats from Amazon! (Yay!) Links are available through the ' Novels ' section of my blog. -I was a part of an Author Event that my local library put on. It was incredible. I was a little dubious before it but it was amazing! There were a few other authors that spoke along with me about their processes and I felt I learnt a lot along with the audience, so that's good! I might upload a separate post with my talk and general questions etc, just so that it gets a wider audience. :) -I'm still manically editing my next book due for release in November. It's so far been...

The Love Incidents - Blurb

While I'm waiting for my proof copy of The Love Incidents to arrive (before I can actually say it's out), I thought I would post the blurb and a little bit about the book! The Love Incidents When four very different women are chosen to write a book about the modern women’s view on sex, they think it’ll be an easy assignment. And an easier paycheck. Or is it? Miller Derby is engaged to a man she  isn't  sure she loves and Jessa Malliver is content with one night stands to stop thinking about the boy who broke her heart into a million pieces; Hope Young is desperately trying to forget about how lonely she is since her divorce and Pippa Forrest is trying to remain in control of her heart by enforcing strict rules on her friend with benefits. Despite their differences, the four become friends, learning secrets and telling lies along the way. But when their lives start to overlap and the secrets start to come out, their newfound friendship is stretched to the lim...
